Aladdin.Life launches a World’s first to empower telecom customers and help sellers
Dubai, 26th April 2020: Aladdin.Life has announced the beta launch of the world’s first platform combining search,
marketplace and customer community for telecom services in the UAE. The digital platform will help customers to discover,
compare and make informed decisions about mobile and home services and plans in the UAE. Customers will be connected to a
marketplace and will also be able to rate and share their experiences on an AI -powered customer community. Authorised
Sellers including physical retailers will be able to plug in to the marketplace to get online customer traffic.
Research by Aladdin Life has revealed that only 20% of UAE customers believe they are on the best mobile plan that
suits their needs. 70% believe they can save moderate to significant amount by moving to the best plan for their needs.
A similar 70% have not switched to their best plan because they don’t know what plans are available or anticipate difficulties
in switching. These findings are consistent with global trends in the industry. Customers worldwide have difficulties
navigating and finding the right plan and cannot keep up with frequent prices changes and promotions.
Aladdin.Life addresses these challenges through innovative solutions based on promoting transparency, choice and
convenience for customers. Genie search helps existing customers maximize value of their current spend or increase
savings. This is done by instantly matching their basic usage pattern with dozens and hundreds of price plans offered
by UAE operators. Bazaar is a unique online marketplace complete with online and online 2 offline shopping.
It features UAE’s largest collection of mobile plans with sims and devices and includes 1000+ mobile price plans
and 1500 + device installment plans offered by UAE operators.

Founders
Subhra Das
Aladdin.life was founded in 2019 by Subhra Das, former founding EVP Marketing & Customer
Experience at du (EITC), UAE, till 2013. As founding CEO of Jawwy in KSA, owned by Saudi
Telecommunications Company, Subhra conceived and created one of the world’s first full digital
mobile operator in KSA and the first in this region, He has held 5 CMO roles with Mobile operators
worldwide and has played a lead role in 6 very successful telco start-ups.
His Operational Experience spans several key telecom markets: India, Romania, UAE, Saudi Arabia,
Oman, Nigeria, Egypt, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Holland and Denmark.
Ganpatsingh Rajput
Ganpatsingh Rajput is Co-founder and CTO of Aladdin.life. He has been co-founder of two tech ventures with successful exits:
Co-founding member of www.travelguru.com (acquired by Sabre Inc.) and www.infibeam.com (successfully listed on Indian
Bourses -NSE and MSE). Travelguru.com was one of the first travel portal in India. Raised funding from Sequoia Capital
India and Battery Venture USA. Company was acquired by Sabre Inc in 2007-2008.
GSR as he is fondly known was a former New York based Technology professional having managed distributed teams
in USA, Europe and India.
As VP, HYPERTECH SOLUTION, NJ, USA, 2001-2005, he played a key role in driving innovative dynamic packaging solutions for
Global Travel Distribution System- Amadeus France. GSR is an alumnus of Fr. CRIT, Mumbai having completed his B.Engg, in Computer Science.
He currently leads Aladdin’s Tech team based in Mumbai.
